Fall Risk Prevention Program

According to the National Council on Aging, falls result in more than 2.8 million injuries treated in emergency departments annually, including over 800,000 hospitalizations and more than 27,000 deaths.

Are you or someone you care about worried about falling?

Thanks to generous support from the St. Louis City Seniors Fund and the JCA Charitable Foundation, Jewish Family & Children’s Service has developed a new program to provide free fall prevention screening, risk assessment, and social work case management for older adults at risk. Our goal is to provide resources, information, and advocacy to help you or your loved one continue living safely in your own home.

To request a free screening, more information on fall prevention, or an in-home assessment, please contact Ken Schwartz at 314-812-9320 or kschwartz@jfcs-stl.org.

This program is supported by the St. Louis City Senior Fund.
